If the features they've said they're working on are the headlines, the April update is going to be very boring.

As far as I am aware (and I could be wrong), no information was leaked ahead of time. The only thing I did was to post on my wiki journal (the wiki is viewable to _everyone_) last week to let people know that news was coming soon (Linsey did this as well). The reason I did that was due to community feedback. People wanted to know that news was coming. If folks would rather not know that news is coming, I can stop posting those kinds of updates. But the majority of feedback I have received about letting people know to expect news was positive. The German forums, in particular seemed to appreciate it.

If you told only few people on Some Site Somewhere that there will be a news, you are favoring those few Chosen Ones.
If people wanted to know the news, why didn't you post it here? Or on any of the big fansites?

Come on, Abedeus, you know the answer and you even know that a discussion on this is pointless because we will not get an answer. The wiki is the main community channel, Guru is just Guru, while Germans have very nice forums apparently (got a super-nice German friend btw!). Don't try to suggest rules need to be changed, they're set in stone. End of discussion, alas.

Although there are things about GW that need to be changed, rectifying HoM is not big news because it doesn't affect gameplay. It might possibly have something to do with GW2. It should be way down the list of news priorities.
GW2 is what we need to hear about because it will keep people playing in hope of the future. After being teased about it back before GWEN was released we've had precious little - hardly a way to treat the community well.

Maybe because 70% of the people who post here only complain about anything Anet tries to do and improve. Any idea or news they would post would OR shot down straight away because of QQing for nerfs or whatever OR shot down because of QQing that they will make PvE "even easier then it is" (nobody is forcing you to use good builds) OR QQing about that Anet never does anything right, although when Anet does something good they are all quiet about it.

If people wanted to know the news, why don't they just check the official wiki then? As Regina said, it's viewable to anyone, so why not take a look regulary?

I actually expected lots of praise for the coming updates but I see much complaining about implementation time.
I for one have no idea on how difficult it is to put these changes into place and since I have been wishing for more storage for years I am saying a big WOOHOO and thanks to the team for granting us these wishes and if I have to wait until April then so be it. Hugs and kisses for this the most special update for me and many others.

I'm sorry but, rofl.
If you want to be one of the "chosen few" all you got to do is choose to go to the wiki and read their journals. It's not like you have to pay an entry fee.
Just go to wiki.guildwars.com choose "arenanet interaction" then "arenanet staff presence" (anyone with half a braid can figure out those steps) and read the entry from whatever staff person you want.
Or, gasp, type /wiki ingame and it will take you to the main page.
Good grief, to be any more inclusive and accessible they would have to come to your house and hand you the info in person.
By the way - I really like the proposed updates and see no reason to complain. Maybe I can start playing a couple of my characters that I'm currently using a mules.

A critique that I can understand is that my wiki journal is not visible enough, and it's a critique players have had of the Developer Updates, which is why I've recommended that Dev Updates be housed on the website. There is no way to RSS an individual wiki page. I agree that we may be making that information hard to get to because you can't get it in your feed reader. The only remedy I can see is to move my journal out of the wiki completely and have it in a format that people can subscribe to, like we're doing with the Dev Updates.
I apologize for going too off-topic. :S

Here's an idea for ANet staff, stop using a WIKIPEDIA PAGE for community relations. This is why the community are often mad, because you're using the COMPLETE wrong medium for communication. Either set up a section of the website for updates and discussion (like, I dunno, a real forum?), or post more regularly on fansites. Wikipedia pages are not meant for discussions, and is possibly the worst way to give the community information.
Stop taking the easy way out.

Maybe we could make an RSS feed o_O. Then I would port it to rainmeter and stick it on my desktop! Or maybe it doesn't have to be an RSS feed just a frame in frame object.
Anyway, Anet can post wherever the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO they want rofl.

I am happily awaiting whatever will be included in this update in April, along with whatever skill balances come monthly until then.
To be quite honest, I need more storage.. I rarely sell any of the (good) mods I get when buying unids (I have an addiction to the wisdom title), as I use them whenever I get new weapons, for the most part. I do sell some, but.. more space would be greatly appreciated.
*Crosses fingers for armor storage*

So plainly stated, so full of truth and obviousness, it hurts (in a good way). Fenix, I think you know the basics of Regina's job better than she does. I think the 'qft' thing is used way too liberally, but in this case, I couldn't have stated it better.

Personally what is taking up most of my storage both vault and mules is chapter resources that drop off of mobs. I'd like to see a tab for each chapter that has every resource so I don't have to fill my vault and mules up with them. You know like skins or unicorn horns, or teeth etc. etc. basically all those things you can turn in for collectables. If I just had a space for 250 of each I would be a happy storage camper and be able to play a lot more of my characters.

Yeah, one slot for each type of collectible drops and materials in the material storage tab would be very welcome. and everything that's been ask for in the giant storage thread over Sardilac. lol somehow when everything show 250 in that tab i'll feel content ROFL.
